Project Description

As part of the Japan-funded Marine Corps Relocation Program, Pacific Rim was proudly selected by Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Pacific to deliver the J-017-II Utilities and Site Improvements Phase 2 Main and Commercial Gates project for the new Marine Corps Base Guam.

Recognized for excellence in federal construction and backed by multiple industry awards, Pacific Rim continues to play a vital role in supporting mission-critical infrastructure across the Pacific. This landmark project includes the construction of a new 157,000-square-foot Main Gate and a 180,000-square-foot Commercial/Tactical Vehicle Gate designed to strengthen installation security and operational readiness for the future Marine Corps Base Guam.

The Main Gate complex features a modern entry canopy with guard booths and pedestals, gatehouse, overwatch enclosure, utility building, search area canopy, and a fully equipped Visitor Control Center with parking for privately owned vehicles. The Commercial Gate scope includes a primary security canopy, inspection area, gatehouse and search office, overwatch tower, utility building, and dedicated parking facilities for security personnel — all built to meet the highest standards of safety, security, and performance.
