Pacific Rim constructed the new 18,433 square feet, two-story boutique casino with a gaming room, a restaurant, private gaming areas, a secured cage area, two hotel rooms, private gaming rooms, an IT room, a security room, administrative offices, and other support facilities.
Sustainable features included stormwater control, insulated walls and ceilings, double-glazed windows, LED lighting, lighting controls, energy-efficient mechanical systems, low-flow fixtures, and cool roofing systems.
Seventy percent of the structure was already completed by another contractor when Pacific Rim took over the contract due to non-conformance to the permit drawings. Pacific Rim was given a very tight schedule to complete this project. Pacific Rim coordinated with the design team to assess the existing structures and fast-track components that needed to be redesigned, such as the structural wall refurbishment as well as design changes requested by the owner. Pacific Rim delivered this project within budget and schedule.
