Description Of The Service

Safety is an integral part of our culture. It sets the tone for how we manage our employees and trade partners, ensuring everyone returns home safely at the end of the day. Our employees and trade partners know the one absolute goal we try to achieve every day when we come to work — ZERO INCIDENTS.
 
Pacific Rim has consistently maintained a DART (Days Away, Restricted, or Transferred) and TRC (Total Recordable Incident Rate) rate below 1.4, lower than the average industry standard of 1.5. However, in the past three consecutive years, Pacific Rim has achieved and maintained ZERO DART and TRC rates.
 
Our safety program complies with all applicable Federal Occupational Safety and Health standards, such as the US Army Corps of Engineers Safety and Health Requirements Manual, EM 385-1-1, UFC 3-560- 01 Operation and Maintenance of Electrical Safety, and Public Law 91-596, Occupational Safety and Health Act.
 
The STEP Award recognizes contractors with exceptional safety performance. In the past five years, Pacific Rim has received five STEP Awards from the Associated Builders and Contractors, including Silver, Platinum, and Diamond levels.
